Geology varies more across this county than most people expect. Homes built on sandy coastal fill behave differently from those inland toward Hastings and Elkton, where the soil holds more of what produces radon. But foundation type matters just as much as geology, and almost everything here is slab-on-grade, which concentrates radon rather than dispersing it. That is why a clean result at your neighbor's house tells you very little about your own.
